Hidden Technology International Marketing & Special Projects Director, Chris Nyland
Hiddentec’s International Marketing & Special Projects Director, Chris Nyland, was invited to speak at Interpol’s Global Counter Nuclear Smuggling Conference in Lyon, France in January 2016.
Among the attendees of the conference were 270 mid-senior ranking police officers from nearly 120 countries with an interest in hearing more about Interpol’s counter nuclear smuggling activity and to share best practice with experts in the field of counter nuclear trafficking from around the world.
Chris Nyland’s presentation covered topics ranging from the day-to-day tracking of goods and personnel, to covert, rapidly-deployable tracking operations for ad hoc operations and at-risk shipments.
“I was honoured to be invited to speak at such a prestigious event. Professionals from around the globe were able to share their experiences in tackling such an important issue. My input to the conference mainly focussed on the use of GPS tracking technology in support of the security of legitimate waste material whilst in transit and the use of covert technology in aiding investigations” – Chris Nyland
