Hiddentec to Attend SOFIC 2016

Hidden Technology are pleased to announce that we will be in attendance at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida. The event will be May 23rd-26th.

Hiddentec will be on Stand 2024 alongside the UKTI DSO and Ballistic Tool Kit (BTK).

BTK logoThe member companies of BTK are constantly interacting and looking for new ways to maximise our potential and utilise each others products to ensure the customer’s needs are satisfied. Individual companies are small; enabling them to react and adapt quickly to change, keep up with technology and customer requirements. Collectively, the companies within the BTK come together to provide total flexible solutions that harness BTK’s skills to meet individual customer requirements without compromise.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Hiddentec at PSE Madrid

PSE Madrid logoHidden Technology is in attendance at the Public Security Exhibition being held at Hotel Miguel Ángel, Madrid 26th-27th April 2016.

The UK security industry enjoys a great reputation in Spain, one of the top export destinations in this sector for UK companies. PSEs have traditionally been generalist events but, on this edition, ADS and UKTI Spain have decided to include a themed area for transport security suppliers (i.e. passive security equipment aimed at detecting explosives, concealed weapons, CBRN, etc. without disrupting the flow of passengers through security controls at airport terminals/railway stations).

We look forward to seeing you!

Hidden Technology International Marketing & Special Projects Director, Chris Nyland

Hiddentec’s International Marketing & Special Projects Director, Chris Nyland, was invited to speak at Interpol’s Global Counter Nuclear Smuggling Conference in Lyon, France in January 2016.

Among the attendees of the conference were 270 mid-senior ranking police officers from nearly 120 countries with an interest in hearing more about Interpol’s counter nuclear smuggling activity and to share best practice with experts in the field of counter nuclear trafficking from around the world.

Chris Nyland’s presentation covered topics ranging from the day-to-day tracking of goods and personnel, to covert, rapidly-deployable tracking operations for ad hoc operations and at-risk shipments.

“I was honoured to be invited to speak at such a prestigious event. Professionals from around the globe were able to share their experiences in tackling such an important issue. My input to the conference mainly focussed on the use of GPS tracking technology in support of the security of  legitimate waste material whilst in transit and the use of covert technology in aiding investigations” – Chris Nyland
