Hiddentec’s International Marketing & Special Projects Director, Chris Nyland, was invited to speak at Interpol’s Global Counter Nuclear Smuggling Conference in Lyon, France in January 2016.

Among the attendees of the conference were 270 mid-senior ranking police officers from nearly 120 countries with an interest in hearing more about Interpol’s counter nuclear smuggling activity and to share best practice with experts in the field of counter nuclear trafficking from around the world.

Chris Nyland’s presentation covered topics ranging from the day-to-day tracking of goods and personnel, to covert, rapidly-deployable tracking operations for ad hoc operations and at-risk shipments.

“I was honoured to be invited to speak at such a prestigious event. Professionals from around the globe were able to share their experiences in tackling such an important issue. My input to the conference mainly focussed on the use of GPS tracking technology in support of the security of  legitimate waste material whilst in transit and the use of covert technology in aiding investigations” – Chris Nyland

The S-Tracker is used and endorsed by professional golfer Barry Lane (@BazLane), who uses it to track his golf bag as he travels internationally.

Missing luggage, particularly sporting equipment, can cause no end of trouble for world travellers. Using an S-Tracker, users are able to view the location of their bags on their mobile phones; allowing them to recover luggage quickly and avoid travel companies’ often laborious procedures.

The draw will be carried out when 100 retweets have been received. The names of those who have followed and retweeted will be randomized to produce a winner, who will be informed via Twitter.

Further information on the S-Tracker and the service provided can be found at hiddentec.com/sport

[msg_box type=”note” icon=”yes” hide=”no”]The S-Tracker must be used in accordance with Hidden Technology’s Terms & Conditions. Use of the device beyond the second free year will be subject to contract. Consultation regarding areas of operation may be necessary to ensure good service.
